I just moved from Premier Pro 24 to 25, and it looks like my old 32GB Corsair Vengeance 4x8 isn’t up to the job anymore. Even with the tweaks I made in Premier 24, the files now behave differently and playback often stutters. I’m curious if there’s a way to work around the RAM upgrade—like shifting some rendering tasks to the GPU—or if there are other options I should try. If I decide to add more RAM, I was considering the Timetec 64GB kit because it’s affordable. Would you recommend it or do you have another idea? My specs include an Intel i5-12600K, 32GB Corsair Vengeance DDR4 4x8 ARC A770, and 16GB of Windows 11 Pro. I also just replaced my SSD, which might mean factory settings are off.

It looks like only about 25 is unusual. You can quickly check if it's your RAM by opening Task Manager.

I’ve been thinking about switching editing tools since my current setup doesn’t work. My Arc GPU isn’t compatible, so I can’t render properly. The artifacts in the video force me to use encoding software again, which is another round of the same problem. This could be a major issue for professional work.

After some research, it seems your GPU’s 16GB VRAM is being limited, which is unexpected. It’s taking a lot of memory even with just 3GB of footage—still manageable, but worth optimizing for smoother performance.
