Recently I stopped gaming because of the immersion. I don’t really feel like getting lost in games anymore. Before I could smoke a blunt, I played Skyrim and felt like I was inside the game. Not so much now, which is why I prefer story games to connect with people and avoid getting too immersed. (Dishonerd 2 is what I’m currently enjoying). Most of the time I just watch YouTube instead of playing games. I’m thinking about getting an HTC Vive, but it’s not cheap—about as much as my computer cost. I saved up $1,000, so I’m wondering if I should go ahead and spend $800 on it? What do you think?

The best approach is to locate a demo version, test it out, and assess your preference before committing.

It seems you're questioning whether the game focuses more on strategy than combat. Are you referring to Skyrim specifically, or is this a broader concern about the Vive setup?

Consider a larger screen or better headphones for improved experience.

It seems like you're suggesting getting a living if you have the money.
