Recently I discovered a 30 GB old drive packed with 240p photos of me. The main concern is determining which Linux distribution to install and what tasks I can accomplish with it. I’m considering Ubuntu, but I’m not sure. Please share your thoughts below, explaining why you’re interested and what you hope to achieve with this system. Note: This will run alongside my Windows 10, and yes—I speak English and use drugs.

It's best to set it up and discover it on your own.

The system will leave about 20gb of space once the operating system is installed. This is smaller than typical USB drives, so consider removing photos beforehand or using a bigger storage option.

I've already saved everything, but I'm stuck on this 30 GB drive and not sure what to do next.

Ubuntu isn't a bad operating system, nor an exceptional one—just what it is.

With extensive Ubuntu knowledge, it’s best to stick with it now or try alternatives like Mint. You could also explore a different distribution in a live setup to deepen your understanding.

I’m starting from a USB drive. The scaling looks terrible, and I don’t want to tweak anything. I also don’t have any commands for the terminal.
