I checked my setup and realized the G3258 wasn’t powerful enough for 1080p60 Minecraft recording. I installed the new i5-4590 and tried it right away with OBS using Quick Sync. The results were comparable to the old model. I also tested Dxtory, but it didn’t help. Now I’m stuck—can record smoothly at 250+ FPS but not at 1080p60. It’s frustrating.

Currently running HD 7850. Expecting GTX 960 or R9 380 in the near future.

Check availability for R9 380 or 380X models. If possible, look for R9 390 as well.
