I need to upgrade my old PC but only have a tight budget for CPU, GPU, and memory upgrades. I’m looking for the best high-end CPU options that fit on the board, compatible with Xeon or older i7 chips. I want to pair it with either a GTX 1660s or an RTX 2060 Ko Ultra without performance issues. I’d also like recommendations for suitable memory modules.

Without AVX support, every CPU here performs poorly for gaming and older titles that don’t require it—no need to upgrade your processor.
