I improved my PC's speed by around 40% after turning it off. But could it harm the device or leave it vulnerable? I mainly use it for watching movies and playing games.

I didn't run bench tests. It works in real situations. Everything feels fast once activated. You'll notice a delay of about 1 or 2 seconds.

Intel VT-x/d allows you to run virtual machines and send hardware components to guests. Disabling virtualization might boost security, but the impact on a typical home computer is minimal. I’m not very experienced with Intel SGX, but from what I understand, the risk increase is similar to others whose platforms don’t support it. Overall, it won’t significantly affect you in the long run.
