I own a 970 and a game like this should fit right in my collection. But the time I can play is limited right now. Given the situation, how engaging does Star Citizen feel? How much does strong control enhance the experience? Should I try it with a controller now? Honestly, this feels like a big leap—especially compared to flying games from years ago.

I've heard of it too, though I'm not sure what it's about.

You spend some time digging through information and then return, unsure if you qualify as a PC gamer unless you’re familiar with the topic.

I understand a bit about it, but it doesn’t interest me much. It’s not something I enjoy. Still, I remain a PC gamer.

They're highlighting features that really benefit PC gaming—something that could make it even better. I don’t think it’s about Star Citizen specifically, but rather about improving the overall experience for PC players.

It seems you're questioning whether not knowing a game disqualifies someone from being considered a gamer. What do you think?

You haven't acquired anything from ScP in the current sense. It depends on your finances and intentions. You're not buying ships or the game outright; you're contributing instead. In return, they express gratitude for your donation and ask for a ship. If you're keen but prefer not to give up a ship early, wait until the full release. Otherwise, obtain a ship yourself and consider getting Arena Commander—starting with dogfights would be smart. Regarding controls, keyboard and mouse are commonly recommended, though joysticks, hotkeys, and controllers are receiving more attention over time.
