For those who want the full picture, here’s what you need to know—no softening, just the details. This should give you a thrilling edge before diving in.

I'm not sure if I should reveal the main surprise in Bioshock 1... It's the most amazing twist I've seen in a video game. The kind of surprise that could make M Night Shyamalan jealous. Get all three. They're not actually horror, believe me. They're just really good.

Bioshock stands out as one of the most impressive franchises, highly recommended. While it leans more toward suspense than horror, it delivers an engaging experience that keeps you hooked until the final moments. I particularly enjoyed the gameplay in BioShock 2, which was quite solid. Overall, it offers great value for money.

I've only explored Bioshock 1 and Bioshock Infinite, but they're not horror titles. They're single-player first-person shooters with compelling narratives and visually striking graphics—especially impressive for their era around 2008. Infinite stands out as my preferred game among the two I've played. If you enjoy the Half-Life or Far Cry series, you'll likely appreciate the Bioshock series too.

In Bioshock Infinite you're attempting to rescue your daughter from a duplicate version of yourself across various realities. The game adopts the many-worlds theory of quantum mechanics, meaning each choice or event creates branching universes, one for every possible decision made.
