Hi there! I’m just someone who sticks to the basics. This month I’m replacing my current rig with a Ryzen 7 3rd gen and an Aorus b450 M motherboard. I’m running into issues with the RAM, but I’ve heard 3600 MHz is a good target for Ryzen 3 models. It’s pricier, but I’m not keen on doing any manual adjustments or tweaks. I’m okay with a 3600 MHz setting unless it’s too complicated. I’m thinking this setup could last a few years, so I’m wondering if it’s really worth it. Would it be easier to hit 3600 MHz in the RAM stick rather than the board? Should I consider a 3200 MHz kit instead? Also, is a 3466 kit a solid option? Let me know!

It's okay with 3200MHz, a 3600MHz boost would help slightly. If it affects the budget, just pass on it. It shouldn't noticeably impact performance.

Thanks! Since you're in Brazil, the CL14 RAM isn't widely available. Both options you mentioned are G.Skill CL18 3600 or HyperX 3200 CL16 models. This might affect your choices.

I’m preparing a Ryzen 5 3600 upgrade and aiming for 3200mhz. For that, you’d need a higher price tag, but it works well for editing 4K videos and running large open-world games. It really depends on your intended use.
