You need a wired connection. Consider getting another router or a switch to connect directly.

I personally use a switch and it works just fine. I recommend you follow my advice.

Both options work well; choose the one you prefer and feel free to mention any additional requirements.

Choosing a switch often means more ports for future growth. Adding another router gives even more flexibility in network setup. A budget 8-port gigabit switch can usually be found for around $20 or less, which should work well. I currently use my router in bridge mode connected to a more powerful router, and then use a managed switch for the rest of my devices. Spoiler: it’s efficient.

I have a backup router available. It features one WAN port and two LAN ports, which should suit your needs. Would you like a quick guide on setting it up?

It seems you're looking for advice on choosing a Wi-Fi extender. A basic 8-port switch should suffice, but consider what your needs are for better performance.

Planning to connect a network cable to your area? Just grab a router with strong Wi-Fi and make it work smoothly.

I support this idea. Using a router will help extend your Wi-Fi coverage effectively.
