You should consider upgrading to a third-gen i7 processor. The i7-2600 remains functional for gaming and editing but lacks the performance improvements of newer models.
I got a 3570k up to 4.7ghz but it barely matches my Ryzen 2600x at normal settings. My 3770k only climbs a few threads and still feels slow for everyday use or gaming. Both got tossed in the trash for folding and mining. I’d pick a 1600af with 16gb 3200mhz RAM. Keep your PSU and case if possible. If you can afford it, grab an RX580 budget GPU.
