Sure, I’d like that, but I’m out of funds. Switching to an 8GB drive and a new SSD would definitely help me until I find work and can buy better gear. Playing games on an 8-year-old system isn’t too bad, especially if you’re not used to the newer stuff.

You're in a great spot if you're satisfied. Just stay alert! There are plenty of solid offers—like the 16GB DDR3, i7 2600K, old Corsair water cooler, and GTX 770 all for $150.

Windows 10 works well, but older storage devices struggle. With an SSD, you're basically a Druaga1 version. In reality, opt for a budget Z77 or H61 board paired with an i5 processor and SATA III or PCIe 3.0 for maximum performance.

I’d try to save a bit, but since I already have an OEM case or modem, I’d probably need to purchase a new case and RAM. At that stage, it might make more sense to save a little extra and upgrade to a brand-new PC.

You're asking why a system like an 770 feels so much better than older models. It's because newer chips, like the 770, handle tasks faster and more efficiently. Using a 2600K is similar to having a powerful i3 or i5, making it a solid choice for performance.

No problem, just let me know. I understand you're comparing models and need help with the Molex to PCIe adapter for your 4870.

I have an i3 2120 available if you're interested. You might have additional DDR2 slots on your motherboard, and I won't use it since I don't need it. If you want it, it's yours to keep.
