Hello, I'm a PC user with everything set up for Windows 11. I was considering installing the leaked version on my main Mac, since I don’t mind the risks and just want to see if it helps gaming or improves performance with my 8 GB DDR4 3000MHz RAM. Just thinking about it—would it actually make a difference? Or should I stick with Windows 10 Pro and wait for the official release next year? Honestly, many people do that because pirated versions are free.

Currently, things feel quite unpleasant. The menu system isn't very satisfactory.

If I were you, I’d ask these questions without a set sequence:
1 - Is the system reliable? If not, it signals numerous issues and wastes my time fixing things. It could also damage my device.
2 - Am I prepared for this transition? Since changes are expected, adjusting will take time.
3 - Will my current hardware support the upgrade? My past experience shows that older systems struggle with newer updates. Running Windows 10 on a previous machine was risky, and I ended up needing a new laptop afterward.

Keep using Windows 10 for some time. New Windows 11 might be quite shaky at first.

I'm not sure about the gaming speed yet. I've been updating and installing drivers all day, plus checking some UI features. It feels a bit sluggish rather than snappy, though it runs smoother than expected. The background processes seem more efficient, but we can't confirm if that means better performance. I plan to test again tomorrow. By the way, I didn't install it on my main system—my laptop (IdeaPad) is decent for gaming, just not great, but having a backup makes sense. If you want to try without any setup, good luck! Tongue

This discussion isn't supported or promoted. If you're interested in Windows 11, consider joining the Preview Insider group for free and legal access. For concerns about official channels or alternative methods, please note that pursuing such routes carries significant risks, especially if you're not prepared to handle potential data loss from bugs.
