Hey everyone, I've been facing some Windows problems lately that make me want to reinstall or fix my setup. Curious if upgrading to Windows 11 would help, especially since I've heard issues with AMD processors. My current specs are: AMD Ryzen 5 5600X, Corsair DDR4 Vengeance RGB PRO 2x16GB, 3200MHz RAM, Corsair RM750 power supply, MSI MAG B550 PSU, and a NZXT Aer RGB 2 Single. I'm not sure if this affects my performance, but I'm considering it. What do you think?
It was common during the initial launch period, though they likely addressed the problem soon after. I haven’t encountered any issues with my laptop since then, as I mainly use it for word processing and browsing the internet. I can’t comment on performance differences between the two models.
The W11 isn't completely stable yet—wait a few more months for it to mature. If you're interested in testing it, go ahead, but don’t complain if you encounter any issues. Spoiler: That case really drains your PC power. You’ll probably not notice much heat from the fans, and those expensive RGB fans won’t help either. I still suggest swapping it just to ensure the GPU doesn’t overheat, though the CPU should be okay.
Do you have any alternative suggestions to address the problem with your setup? The main challenge is updating, as I've cleared the cache and tried other fixes, but nothing seems effective. There are also minor issues I'm not motivated to resolve. If you have any insights or advice, please share them.
