At first, my setup included a Ryzen 5 2600, an RX 580, 16GB RAM at 2400MHz, and MSI B350 Tomahawk. Now it runs the same CPU and board but with an RX 5700X and 16GB RAM at 3600MHz. My graphics card works with Ryzen Gen 3, so I was thinking about upgrading to something like the R7 3700X. Would it really make a difference? Is your GPU strong enough to avoid bottlenecks? And would this be a good upgrade overall? Thanks for reading.

Save up until autumn and invest in a new CPU and board for 4000 chips.

I wouldn't recommend it unless you're facing issues with gaming or demanding software. Choosing a Ryzen 3 Gen would require upgrading your RAM, storage, cooling system, and possibly the CPU. I'd consider waiting a few years until the next generation handles newer games better.

Consider your needs and the latest naming conventions. The Ryzen 7 4700X is a strong option, while the Ryzen 5 4600 offers more budget-friendly performance. If you're looking for a balance, the B550 chipset could be a good fit.

Their results remain uncertain
We lack clarity on their performance
Predictions are still unclear
