Most advise against upgrading. They're still working out several issues. Windows 10 will be supported until October 2025, so there's really no rush.
If you're looking to be among the first to try out version 11, go ahead—it's still quite unstable, similar to version 10 right now. The main issues like the Snipping Tool not working have mostly been fixed. I've noted this in my notebook, and when I've used it recently (since I'm no longer in school and don't need a mobile device), everything has worked well. My brother got a gaming laptop with version 11 preinstalled and it's been running smoothly.
I’ve cleaned the system on day one and everything functions normally—no surprises. Just avoid upgrading unless necessary. We assist users here and on Discord whenever systems are broken after upgrades. The main issue seems tied to older installations with many customizations or errors, not necessarily version 11. When deciding, ask yourself if you truly need features in 11. If not, keep the current setup intact.
Suggest it, if you don’t like it or run into problems, revert to Windows 10. I’m on Windows 11 since the public beta, and it’s changed a lot. I really like it, though there are some hiccups too.
