Hey there! For a balanced choice, the Constellation Andromeda is a solid option. It offers good value without breaking the bank, and since you enjoyed the free alpha version, it should feel familiar. The Freelancer model also works well if you're looking for flexibility. Just check current prices and features to make sure it fits your needs.

Let me help you figure this out. Have you thought about what aspects of the game interest you most?

The freelancer works well for trade and exploration over long distances, depending on the version you choose. The constellation also supports these activities, with Andromeda suitable for heavy combat thanks to its firepower and durability. I recommend starting with a smaller ship to understand the game mechanics before upgrading. If you prefer, you can go for beginner-friendly options like the Avenger (choose Titan for cargo), Hornet (Super Hornet is the strongest and safest), or Gladius (more agile but less powerful). Alternatively, consider starting with an Aurora or Mustang, which are the original ships. You can always upgrade your package later if you're not satisfied.

For larger vessels, the retaliator and constellation options are worth considering. I wouldn’t recommend a cutlass until the ship is repaired. When it comes to roles, what aspects of other games appeal to you? Trading, crafting, salvage, repairs, intense PvP dogfights, special ops, blockade running, exploration—there’s plenty to explore. You don’t need to choose just one, and we can help identify a practical path based on your preferences.

We’re considering various vessels for the route. The Reliant mini-hauler suits certain needs, while the Cutlass offers flexibility with modular options. Freelancer and Caterpillar both focus on hauling; Caterpillar provides more modular choices, and Freelancer offers strong defense. Constellation is versatile with many possibilities, Merchantman excels at hauling and exploration, Carrack is built for long voyages and distance, and Endeavor brings a wide range of features. If you need a budget option, an Avenger could be a cost-effective start while you search for a better fit.

You're considering the Andromeda and Aquila constellations. If you purchase the Alpha version now, what capabilities are available for exploration and other actions?

You can save the most affordable option now and improve it later whenever convenient. Regarding activities for the baby pu, the Discord chat will connect you with more experienced members than I am in this stage.

Suggest using the core Aurora package and hold off until the next "all ships flyable" period near launch. Balance and flight systems will shift before the game drops, making it risky to invest now unless you're willing to wait. You can still earn everything in-game, so patience might be the best strategy.
