I’ll start by checking for a board that matches your requirements in ports and features, plus any OC capabilities you might want. If OC isn’t essential, consider non-Z versions, but compare the features they offer. If it lacks what you need, it won’t suit your project. Focus on what fits your planned build, even if you have to give up a few features for cost reasons. Once you’ve identified the right fit, it will be yours. The count of M.2 slots, USB ports, and other details determine the necessary specs, and aim to stay within budget so you can redirect any surplus funds elsewhere—like upgrading your GPU if needed. Figure out your real needs first; that’ll guide what to seek and confirm when you find it.

You're welcome! Your research is great. Here are your points rephrased:
The Gigabyte B560M Aorus PRO seems suitable for you. You have two concerns: the 2.5GB Ethernet support might be limited in your home (max 1GB), and whether the AX version adds enough value compared to the regular model. Regarding differences, the main change is the extra USB ports in the AX model, but you don’t need them. Let me know if you want more details!

For the Ethernet connection it's fine, no major concerns here. Regardless of the board you choose, this problem will remain consistent unless external factors alter the setup, making it irrelevant. Regarding the board with additional USB ports, if the extra ports don't significantly affect the cost, it's safe to proceed and purchase it if desired. Smaller form factor boards typically lack ports, so larger models often provide more options. Choose what fits your needs and build.

I opt for mATX since the ATX (Gigabyte B560 Aorus PRO AX) costs 200 euros, which isn’t feasible. The mid-tower ATX case will work, but I won’t pay an additional 50 euros for ATX.
