By definition, a company focused on budget RAM doesn’t produce high-end variants in any meaningful amount. This reflects its specialization: it mainly handles that specific product. Second, I don’t see TeamGroup as an unknown name. They sit somewhere in the middle, which is why some people are unaware of them. Third, aspects such as PCB and trace quality are exactly what I’m referring to.

Perfect match here—three types of RAM chips. Micron Samsun SK Hynix PCB updates range from A0 to A2, all crafted by manufacturers. I’m familiar with the G.Skill 4267MHz B-Die kit, which corresponds to PCB revision A2.

the variations in pcb and traces across different ram models are significant. i’ll keep this in mind next time i buy my budget 3600 c18 for gskill ripjaws instead of royal trident z royal to reduce latency by 0.5ns, even though it might affect bandwidth. it definitely wouldn’t make sense otherwise. if you’re spending a bit more for slightly better performance, it’s worth considering whether you’re comparing similar kits—like royals, elites, neos versus ripjaws or oloys. unless you're targeting top-tier models, the difference probably won’t matter much. also, it’s curious how you mention corsair while noting their poor pcbs—it’s an interesting point.

What? There are three DDR4 PCB revisions covered in the post above yours. They mainly impact overclocking. Corsair offers some excellent kits featuring B-Dies. Check out the link for details on B-Die options and manufacturers. This list isn't fully finished, but it covers at least 90% of B-Die kits. https://benzhaomin.github.io/bdiefinder/ If you're after high-speed Micron, E-Die is the way to go.

You mentioned that the differences such as PCB and traces are exactly what I was referring to. You also questioned some companies for having poor PCB designs!
