This WD M2 2280 blue 3D NAND SATA SSD at 1 TB seems like a solid option based on the details. Are you sure it fits your needs? I’m considering whether it’s worth the price, especially since I’m aiming for a budget-friendly choice.

Which storage option do you prefer? M.2 or SATA? Do you require a lot of NAND flash? What are your processing needs? What is your budget?

NVME is a better option compared to SATA M.2.

It's not a poor SSD, but there seems to be room for improvement at that cost. I own the 2TB model and it performs exceptionally well https://www.newegg.com/intel-660p-series...klink=true

Sorry for the delayed response, I've been occupied. Ideally it would have been the M.2 drive. The workload isn't too heavy. Perhaps some rare high-end titles and World of Tanks are included. I aim to keep the total under 120.

A budget-friendly mx500 SATA storage option would suffice. It uses TLC technology and includes a DRAM cache, making it reasonably good. There are more affordable alternatives available.
