They’re looking for something fresh and engaging, not another repetitive MMO like WoW. Focus on games with varied experiences, interesting stories, and active communities. If you enjoy exploration, social interaction, or unique mechanics, those are key. Consider what aspects matter most to you—adventure, progression, or fun—and choose accordingly.

In my opinion, it's quite poor.

I haven't tried it yet, yet the feedback has been pretty poor. The reviews seem dull and the content feels uninspired.

Every MMORPG is unique, you can't really judge just by looking at one game. Even though I love World of Warcraft, it might not be the best fit for you. The real issue is that you can't ask someone if a game is worth playing—it's your choice to enjoy it yourself. You should spend time in the game you like, not someone else’s. If you want to try, go for it; it comes down to personal taste.

Remember that many MMOs haven't received positive feedback.

The game is made to keep you busy for as long as it takes by grinding. Avoid doing it.

What MMOs have you explored? It's been enjoyable through its development, though the elder scrolls aren't exactly a game you'll keep playing long-term. I believe the player base will shrink over time.

I’d say yes, particularly if you’re a big fan of the series and MMOs. Many here and in reviews base their opinions on the beta version, which differs significantly from the final product (similar to what happened with the original game). It’s quite enjoyable, offering a solid challenge and a visually appealing world to discover. Even though I suggest purchasing it at a discounted rate, I wouldn’t recommend buying it at full price. The cost doesn’t justify the value. If you still want to try it: get it via G2A for $16-18 or Kinguin for $8—this keeps your investment low if you don’t like it.

It's a well-crafted MMO packed with numerous quests, each character featuring a unique voice that’s impressive. The world is rich with diverse areas and engaging combat. While it lacks the cooperative Skyrim experience, it offers a gameplay style similar to other titles in its genre. It excels over repetitive grind-heavy experiences like Tera&Co. I’m definitely a fan. You’ll enjoy time with friends!
