Disagreeing outright is enough. The 8700k on Intel toothpaste is awful. The 9700k at least has a soldered finish.

I want to emphasize that I strongly dislike the fact that the 9700k was built as an i7. It shouldn’t have been that way—it should have been an i5. Intel clearly took this mistake from the 10th generation models.

The 8600k might indeed be the main constraint, surpassing any other component’s impact. At 1440p resolution, all parts seem limited, and upgrading the CPU from a heavily restricted model likely won’t provide significant benefits.
