They're solid titles, though. Fallout 3 and Fallout NVS remain enjoyable options.
I’d like to try the new Vegas game, but since Fallout 4 is launching next week I’ll play it first.
It doesn't matter. I've tried Fallout 3 and New Vegas, and I believe you can enjoy one without knowing the other. I don't think Fallout 4 will be any different.
They are both enjoyable titles, yet I’d suggest bypassing them temporarily and diving straight into Fallout 4. I received Fallout 3 as a gift during its release year, watched a few trailers, and immediately started playing. I’ve invested countless hours in that game, and I anticipate a similar experience with Fallout 4. Fallout 3 holds a cherished spot in my memory, but it feels dated and has some issues on PC, just like New Vegas.
