For Windows 7 or newer, Fallout 3 might behave oddly, so I’d consider switching to Vegas.

Fallout N V offers better quality than Fallout 3, yet Fallout 3 remains enjoyable and definitely worth trying. Given how affordable it is to obtain both versions with all mods, I suggest acquiring them together.

NV is significantly superior. I played 3 for 2 hours and didn’t return. The performance gap is enormous and hard to overlook. NV feels much smoother, more balanced, and more appealing.
