Here’s the motherboard I’m using: Asus ROG STRIX B450-F, a gaming ATX AM4 board. I’m unsure which network adapter to choose—feeling that cheaper options might lag and I don’t want to overspend. Appreciate your help!

Which router? It depends on whether we need WiGig (WiFi 6) or 802.11 AC (WiFi 5) compared to older standards. If you have Wifi N or AC, a decent 5dbi antenna and an external USB 3.0 adapter would work well. Here’s the link for reference: https://www.newegg.com/netis-wf2190-usb-...6833389035
