When using only 16GB, you need to disable everything else before launching The Last of Us or it will freeze.

Consider the cost and value for each user. Everyone has a budget, and we should respect that. It’s not about unlimited spending—it’s about making smart choices that fit both performance and wallet.

Hey everyone! I plan to add more 8GB sticks to my collection. It should cut my costs in half. To be certain, how can I check if my existing RAM is still functioning well and remains in good shape for a long time? I haven’t faced any problems yet, but testing them is safe.

Since running 4 sticks of mix match RAM at 3600 MHz is a huge challenge, it doesn’t come out of the box easily

DRD4 is definitely compatible and works well. Emma in my network bought it two years apart. Everything runs smoothly. Plex is the same. With 3600MHz, DDR4 is now very reliable with no problems.

I use Prime95 largeffts for this. For your sticks, I recommend sharing a screenshot of the burner and also capturing the version number. This helps avoid mismatches that can cause problems like xmp not functioning properly or no post at all. Depending on how many iCMs clash, you might want sticks in the same bin (3200c16) with matching iCMs or any other sticks with the exact IC of your current ones—they should work just fine. Even basic PCBs will function in this case.
