Hello everyone, I wanted to start by apologizing for my English. I hope you get my point. Now I’m facing a real issue—I need to address my problem or ask the right questions. My sister’s PC isn’t performing well right now. It uses outdated hardware and it seems it’s time for an upgrade. One idea I had was to swap her current motherboard, CPU, and RAM with my own setup (I7-4790k and 16GB RAM). I was thinking about getting something from the Ryzen lineup. But then I realized they’re planning a new product launch in late 2020. Should I wait for that release or upgrade now? And if I do upgrade immediately, what would you recommend for a CPU? Thanks for your support!

Thanks for your quick responses. I wasn't expecting that ^^. I'll make sure the PC stays running. I'll check the outcome tomorrow. My budget is roughly 400€ to a maximum of 500€. What are you referring to with the platform?

It seems you're unsure about what to choose. You mainly use it for gaming and productivity, with a focus on picture editing and occasionally videos.

Alright, I'll wait and observe. At least as long as needed. Appreciate your prompt replies. Wasn't anticipating such a swift progress. Have a great day.
