I reside in Austria and currently use a ZTE 5G router. It connects to a mesh Wi-Fi system—though it's not great—and also links to a switch for my homelab. My internet speed from the provider is 150 Mbps down and 15 Mbps up (my speedtest shows around 20 Mbps). I'm wondering if upgrading to a 5G router or modem would boost the upload speed and maybe add PF-Sense. Also, I want to prioritize gaming over streaming for five people at home.
