Hello! I recently purchased a new PC and need to decide on the best RAM upgrade. I have 16 GB of 2666MHz RAM, which seems suboptimal for my setup. For gaming, I'm looking for the fastest option that pairs well with AMD 3000 processors. I've read that the correct RAM can significantly boost performance. The prices are similar, so it shouldn't be a major issue. I believe the G.Skill model meant for AMD would be ideal, though I'm uncertain if it fits my motherboard. Here are the available choices: G.Skill 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 3200MHz CL16 Trident Z Neo Corsair 16GB DDR4 3200MHz CL16 Vengeance LPX HyperX 16GB DDR4 3200MHz CL16 and Corsair 16GB DDR4 3200MHz CL16 Fury.
Can you send back your current kit? Regarding the three options, memory performance focuses solely on timing and frequency, which remains consistent across all three here. They are equally effective in a straightforward comparison. But because of cost differences, I’d prefer the 3000MHz CL15/16, 3600MHz CL16/17 or 3733MHz CL17.
Your motherboard supports a maximum of 3200MHz, so all three options are viable choices.
It includes more options in the BIOS, but higher CPUs like Zen 2 weren't available at the time the board was created.
