Consider which titles would benefit from a fresh take with a modern engine.
The primary reason I avoid purchasing that game is because I prefer it when it reaches around $4.99.
I partially understand, though I wish there were no exceptions. However, I strongly disagree. I haven’t encountered a remake featuring an improved visual style that would make the new version better than the original.
Mostly it functions for certain titles, such as Titanfall, but I don’t see anything exciting like Metro 2033 in the source code. I’d pick Simcity 2013 in a decent engine, Elder Scrolls in a reliable one, Minecraft in an engine that isn’t just Java-based, and something else outside of that.
