I completely disagree here. The 3080, or any high transient load spiking graphics card, does not, and will not, 'degrade,' a PSU any faster than any other 'normal' graphics card. Please link something to the contrary to support this claim if you could. His Corsair RMx850 is an A tier PSU still under warranty. Buying a new PSU is a waste of money, in this case.
