Hey!
Running an MSI motherboard (a solid one, though I'm not sure which model).
CPU: i7 4790k
GPU: galax gtx 970 hall of fame
16 GB RAM
Need advice on overclocking—any tips would be great! Thanks!
I'm mainly looking to boost gaming performance and streaming quality on Twitch.

You are able and recommended to boost your GPU speed with MSI Afterburner or similar tools. See the reference for details.
OCing RAM often doesn't deliver significant improvements and can complicate troubleshooting, particularly with dual or multiple channels.
For Z series MBs, mild CPU overclocking is feasible depending on your needs.
Always follow the BIOS instructions when performing CPU overclocking.
Keep temperatures under 80°C to prolong device life, as increased heat from OC can shorten longevity. You may use HWMonitor for monitoring.
