Choosing an i7 7700 isn't a smart investment. It offers only a small boost for everyday use. The number of CPU cores is similar between the i5 and i7. Just a slight speed increase and hyperthreading would be enough. ITX models tend to cost more, which is their main downside.

The 5600 offers long-term reliability, whereas the 7700 serves mainly as a temporary fix, possibly lasting only a year.

I plan to opt for the Ryzen for a bit more longevity but will check for any savings by purchasing a used one, since there are many Ryzen 5 5000 models available nearby. I think I’ll replace the motherboard because it’s hard to find an ITX used one. Thanks everyone, really appreciate your support.
