Consider what you need most and choose accordingly.
Consider the options around you. The first is a Hikvision model with 16GB at 3200MHz, priced at $21. The second is a Crucial model offering 16GB DDR4 at 3200MHz for $27. Since you're unsure which fits your needs, weigh the features and budget carefully before deciding.
I would definitely prefer Crucial over the company behind Hikvision.
I also struggle to locate details about the RAM online. It seems Hikvision is primarily known for manufacturing security cameras.
I’d pay a bit more to get RAM from a trusted maker. (I’m not sure about Hikvision, just can’t find much info... And the sites selling them are mostly Aliexpress and similar.) What I’ve found about Hikvision is they’re the biggest manufacturer of CCTV and security cameras globally. Their RAM options aren’t very detailed. Better go with Crucial—they’re known for quality RAM.
Hikvision is a popular security brand in my Asian market, but they also produce SSDs and RAM. I haven’t tried purchasing their SSDs and RAM yet—given the prices, other more common brands seem like better value. If the price gap is minimal, definitely opt for the Crucial model.
