It's unusual, I haven't seen anything like this before! Can you give an example to support your claim about Shuddering? AMD is more affordable, which strengthens that point. Running any XMP profile on a budget B450 motherboard setup... definitely makes sense.
My biggest worry is that i5 chips are often seen only for gaming, while Ryzen offers great value but raises doubts about performance in gaming or streaming. I’ve heard some people think AMD products aren’t ideal for those tasks, which makes me curious. Also, how does this compare to the 3600x in your view?
Received a 3700 unit, which works well with less. The unboxed test showed good results. Running 3600 on the second-gen Ryzen is fine. AMD has consistently offered better performance for streaming compared to Intel's first-gen Ryzen, which provides more cores at a similar price. Opinions aren't important—facts matter here.
