Check your setup carefully. Make sure your graphics card supports 800x600 resolution and low settings. Look at your monitor calibration—smoke can affect display, and too many players or fast firing can cause stutters. Upgrade the GPU if it’s not powerful enough for smooth performance, and adjust your monitor settings to match your display calibration. Keep an eye on FPS in different maps and try lowering the resolution slightly if needed.

Usually running on a GPU is best, I own a Q9550 that's only slightly boosted, but it consistently hits 100 FPS at 1920x1080 without dropping. You might want to upgrade your RAM for smoother performance.

In short, you want to replace the entire setup and forgot to talk about the graphics card. Troll!

Opt for a stronger processor and graphics card, reserve RAM for later use.

GPU and additional RAM will help the GPU transfer to another system when you switch platforms. It seems the RAM might not be DDR3 compatible, as your motherboard likely doesn’t support it. Upgrading the CPU isn’t recommended because it probably won’t work with your current setup, especially if you need something beyond SOC775. If your board supports DDR3, that’s fine. It’s unclear if achieving 150-200 FPS in CS:GO at that resolution is even possible.

RAM or CPU is more important for CS:GO than GPU usage.
