These are my preferred tools. Avoid stress testing an SSD—it can cause unnecessary damage. MemTest86 works really well.

No, it has to do with the voltage. When using Prime, it causes a voltage increase not seen on other stress testing programs.

Why someone wouldn't choose Furmark for a video card is unclear. It seems like a common suggestion for stress testing, but its actual performance isn't well understood.
