Looking for affordable editing tools that fit your needs. Prefer one-time payment options, support multiple overlays, and allow resizing or moving elements. Need effects that don’t require high costs. Let me know if you want suggestions for budget-friendly software.

If you're using a software "nub," it's important to conduct your own research to understand what actions to take, how to handle the software, and its features. We can only offer recommendations.

Consider the light pieces—it's entirely free and includes all features, though I find the layout a bit off.

I once used Vegas but found the cost too high for my editing budget. I switched to Movie Studio Platinum 13 and took advantage of a student discount, spending only £20. It has all the features I need without missing anything essential.

Hitfilm 3 Express is a solid tool. It combines features of After Effects and Premiere in one package. It's free, but you can upgrade to a professional version for additional effects after a one-time fee.

I rely on Blender daily; DaVinci Resolve 12 and Linux are my go-to tools. Shotcut works well too. It’s all free and reliable.
