Your home has a significant Wi-Fi coverage issue in your room, especially since it's where you use both your PlayStation and PC. The current setup uses an affordable Edimax powerline connection that works when no one else is using the network. Your PC reaches about 800 KBps under normal conditions, but it doesn’t fully utilize the available bandwidth, suggesting the powerline might be limiting performance. You're seeking a more affordable and low-latency powerline option to match or exceed this speed. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

For a solid improvement, avoid purchasing devices that aren’t “HomePlug AV2” or G.hn with MIMO (G.9963). These technologies can utilize ground wires along with hot and neutral connections for better communication. This is especially useful if your outlets operate on different phases—something you likely have. Before starting any upgrades, confirm that the powerline adapter connects directly to the wall on both sides; never use extension cords, surge protectors, or UPS devices as they can introduce noise and interfere with signals.

This affects interference when another device is connected through the same port.

They’re excellent options. While TPLink and Zyxel share the same chipset, the differences are minimal. Make sure the device isn’t connected to motors like a refrigerator or vacuum to avoid interference.
