I have $11 remaining from the State of Decay DLC purchase on Steam, which I’ve already completed and found lacking unless you’re specifically chasing achievements (which isn’t my goal). I’m considering trying the Dead Island collection for $7.49—it’s a comprehensive package, and since I haven’t played it before, I thought it might be worth a try. I enjoy first-person single-player zombie titles, which sounds appealing, though I’ve heard mixed reviews (mostly negative). My main concerns are that the main character isn’t available yet, and I can’t afford the Borderlands prequel, even though it looks promising. I also don’t want multiplayer since I tend to get frustrated with it.
They could run an autumn promotion similar to last year or hold off until winter, though waiting might mean missing out on savings. Better prices are likely once you decide.
Tried it at a friend's place, didn't enjoy it. Right now, I'm after games for one person, and multiplayer feels really frustrating lately.
