Hello there, welcome to the forum! I'm a bit new to this space and not super tech-savvy. I just got my HP Omen 16 2021 laptop with an AMD Ryzen 5800H and Radeon RX6600M, which includes two 8GB RAM modules. Because of my busy schedule and gaming habits, I'm finding that 16GB isn't enough. Even with just two browsers—Chrome and Firefox—open with multiple tabs and a game running, I often hit around 10GB usage. I keep two browser windows active, one for work and one for personal use. I haven’t actually reached full 16GB yet, but I’m worried about future demands if games or apps need more memory. I was considering swapping one of the 8GB sticks for a 16GB one, but I’m unsure what the impact would be. My budget isn’t a constraint, so I’m open to spending more for better performance and peace of mind. Any thoughts? What brands do you recommend for a RAM upgrade?
Thank you in advance. I’ll definitely test out Opera GX since having 32 or 64 GB of RAM appears to be more than enough.
