I’m struggling to decide on the next steps for my setup!
My current PC specs are:
5700x
b450 mobo micro atx
3600 cl14 x32gb ram
3070
650w psu
NZXT H400i

I have two options: add a 4070 super or 4070 ti super with dual fans, or build a new PC when the 9800x3d arrives with a 4080 super in an ATX build.
Please help me out! I’ll be ordering parts for Christmas if I go the PC route, or I’ll ask for the 4070 super / ti super plus a 1440p 240hz monitor.

It's a challenging decision. In my opinion, a monitor and a card would be the best approach. If you're using Nvidia graphics cards, opting for a G-Sync compatible model would be ideal. I don't have much experience comparing the 4070 to the 3070, but I'm sure it's worth investing in something capable of 1440p resolution.

Could you confirm if the Asus Dual 4070 TI Super is compatible with a 650w power supply?

I understand the recommendation is for a 700W unit. The main concern would be the make, model, and condition of the device, as well as its age. If it's a low-cost power supply or over five years old, I wouldn't suggest using it.

it's a corsair 650xm bronze. i've noticed online that nividia conducted a benchmark with a 5900x and 4070 ti super on a 650w, so i'm not entirely sure.
