I'm a gamer and I don't want any issues with my PC after updating to the 2004 version. Right now I'm using version 1909.

The issue seems to happen after applying the Windows 10 update, causing files to disappear. This behavior is often linked to changes in how the operating system manages data.

unless you changed your default document folder—which very few users do—this update didn’t really impact just a tiny fraction of people. I upgraded from Windows 7 in 2015 to the same OS on the same SSD, and only experienced one minor issue: an update added separate microphone settings that blocked Discord from using my mic. Overall, I’ve found updates generally improve your experience and are usually harmless.
