Hello, I'm a PC gamer considering an upgrade to Windows 10. I want to know if it will speed up or slow down my system. I also worry about compatibility issues with my GPU, power supply, storage, keyboard, and other parts. What are the advantages and disadvantages of Windows 10? I’m currently running Windows 8.1.

It functions with 8.1 in 99% of cases, and when it does, it works well with 10. Since 10 is lighter than 8.1, it should help improve your PC performance. I recommend giving it a try.

Using version 8.1 with Windows 10 is reliable and won’t hinder your system performance.

If you were relocating from 7, you’d likely encounter many different opinions, but choosing 8.1 seems like the smartest move. It’s essentially the same, just improved.

Sure, just to clarify, will this action clear your hard drive?

All the information available suggests you should follow the advice, and you shouldn't encounter any problems. I haven't tried it myself yet, but since I'm using WMC and Windows 10 no longer supports it, I've lowered my system to 7. It's a good thing!

From my experiences I'm gonna attempt to answer your questions... Firstly - You should upgrade if you want a new Windows experience that is refreshed but still has everything we know Secondly - If you have a potato computer Windows 10 will run however slow as your current operating system does. Otherwise you should be sweet Thirdly - Most peripherals that work on Windows 7 and 8 will work on Windows 10 (provided you install their drivers) Fourthly - Do some research yourself into the pros and cons Bonus - I recommend do a fresh install, that way any possible viruses or malware don't transfer onto your new operating system

Upgrade! Change it! Remove the windows quickly. Switch to Linux or Mac. You're all set.
