I’m looking at my options again before the Boxing Day sale hits. The Ryzen 3600 feels comfortable enough for my needs, especially with my 1080p monitor and workloads. I’m not aiming for a big gaming boost, so the Ryzen 3700X or 5800X might be worth considering. The 5700G offers a middle ground with extra features and better power efficiency. Prices in Canada are still quite competitive right now. I’m thinking about whether waiting until Boxing Day could give me more savings. What do you think?
If you achieve a 5800x resolution, it works well. The power usage is manageable—likely a H212 would handle it easily. The C14s cooler is similar but provides better VRM cooling.
