I mentioned 6700-NONK you replied 6700k, 6700 goes to 4.0ghz with one core while all four cores are at their max up to 3.7. The 5820k reaches 3.6 but I can push it higher, getting an OC of at least 4.0 to match the performance of the 6700 while having two cores. Also, most games now need 4 or more cores, and I've seen comparisons showing better FPS with 2, 4, 6, or 8 cores depending on the title.
I’d accept that offer right away. A GPU limited by a 5820k will also struggle with a 6700 anyway. Upgrading it would be straightforward, though it would use more power. Adding extra cores helps with heavy multitasking, and upgrading RAM on X99 is simple. This looks like a solid deal for you—just make sure the hardware is in good shape. If you’re confident in the person you’re trading with and they’ve confirmed it works, it’s a win.
