I no longer need to worry about X-Plane 11. MSFS is coming soon and is built for more than four cores. Even if you prefer not to use AMD, the performance value is simply too attractive. That part of the issue with X-Plane is its subpar optimization. Are you thinking of an 11.50 or 11.41? I understand you don’t like AMD, but a 3700X will be worth it. MSFS will make the most of all your cores.

This should function similarly in multithreaded environments; the 10700K should perform adequately in MSFS, though with increased temperatures and power usage. It's worth noting, though—what version of XP11 are you running? For now, consider testing Vulkan if you haven't already.

You can find the version information for your Xplane 11 installation by checking the system settings or contacting support.
