7800x3d will join a platform with upgrade options, Zen 5x3d is expected there, which should boost performance by 10%, and Zen 6 (along with 6x3d) is likely included as well, though confidence isn't high either way. (This is the path I’d recommend.) I’m not a big fan of Intel’s current lineup. As others mentioned, multi-threaded processing won’t arrive on desktops. The 15th-gen chip will likely be named Intel Ultra 2 or similar, probably not for another year and expected to launch with Arrow Lake, which looks quite promising.
