Hello, I need to upgrade my CPU soon. My setup has an Intel 8th gen 8700K and a Nvidia RTX 3090, but I'm unsure whether to wait for Meteor Lake or Raptor Lake. Both will offer significant performance gains from the 8th to the newer generations. Location: Europe. Budget: Unlimited (depends on compatibility with the RTX 3090). I'm planning to shop online. Meteor Lake won't arrive as a standalone CPU for desktops. A 12-14 generation release would represent a significant improvement, contingent on cost and availability. The next generation after 14 hasn't arrived yet.
