8700K remains outstanding. The 6700K is only beginning to show signs of wear, so you might have a few more years before it needs replacement.

I believe SK Hynix has begun manufacturing DDR5. Zen 4 released in late 2021 or early 2022 could accommodate DDR5, though we should monitor further updates.
